This is what you should expect...
Step 1 – Complete & Thorough Inspection
Our technician will inspect your carpet and cover your concerns about spots and stains.
Step 2 – Furniture Moving
We move most small pieces, but will cover exactly what you want moved during the Inspection. Please remove loose items and breakables from any furniture that will be moved during cleaning.
Step 3 – Dry Soil Removal
Dry soil removal is the most important step in ANY cleaning process. A high-velocity, commercial grade vacuum is used to remove dust and dry soil from your carpet. Most carpet cleaners completely skip this step or say they do it while they are 'extracting' your carpet, after getting your carpet wet. This process needs to be done dry for maximum effectiveness.
Step 4 – 1st Spot Cleaning
For special spots, specific cleaning agents are applied prior to cleaning.
Step 5 – Application of Cleaning Treatment
A cleaning agent is applied thoroughly to your carpet to loosen soils prior to cleaning.
Step 6 – Deep Cleaning
Deep Cleaning is accomplished by using a counter rotating brush machine. These brushes gently, but thoroughly, clean carpet fibers from the bottom up, lifting the matted down pile in traffic lanes. This allows the cleaning treatment to fully penetrate even the thickest carpet pile. Our encapsulation agent then attaches to the soil and begins the crystallization process.
Step 7 – Post Cleaning Spotting
Spots not removed at this point are individually treated with professional cleaning agents and then re-cleaned. Spot treatments for Food Dyes and Pet Stains are applied and continue to work during the next several hours. These areas will be dry when the cleaning agents have finished working.
Step 8 – Deodorization and/or Fabric Protector (optional)
These Optional treatments are now applied We recommend our Deodorization treatment for severe overall odor challenges. For pet odors that are confined to very specific areas, we recommend our deep pad pet odor process.
We do recommend Fabric Protector on every carpet after cleaning. Fabric protector, whether applied at the carpet mill or in the home, will wear off and needs to be re-applied. Spots and spills are easier to clean with treated carpet. Also, normal soil is easier to vacuum. The removal of this soil will keep your carpet looking great for many years. Although fabric protector has been around since the 1950's. But, it was not until recently that a fabric protector was available for all carpet made from olefin and polypropylene. These fibers are more common today and older types of fabric protector would not help these fibers resist oily soils. We have the solution to that problem!
Step 9 – Grooming
Cut-pile carpet is groomed for a finished look.
Step 10 – Final Inspection
You will go over the cleaning results with your technician when cleaning is finished.
