The 10 Step Steam Carpet
Cleaning System
Our Carpet Cleaning System, the El
Diablo by MasterBlend has been awarded the Gold Seal of
Approval by the Carpet & Rug Institute, the highest rating
for cleaning system based on standardized
testing.
This is what you should expect...
Step 1 – Complete & Thorough
Inspection
Our technician will inspect your carpet and cover your
concerns about spots and stains.
Step 2 – Furniture
Moving
We move most small pieces, but will cover
exactly what you want moved during the Inspection. Please
remove loose items and breakables from any furniture that will
be moved during cleaning. Our cleaning tool can get under
most furniture with leggs. If you would like us to clean
under your bed, just remove the mattress and box springs.
With the mattress/box springs removed, we can clean under your
bed with out any additional costs. We recommend you place
these in you bathroom or any place we will not be
cleaning
Step 3 – Dry Soil
Removal
Dry soil removal is the most important step in ANY cleaning
process. A high-velocity, commercial grade vacuum is
used to remove dust and dry soil from your carpet. Most
carpet cleaners completely skip this step or say they do it
while they are 'extracting' your carpet, after getting your
carpet wet. This process needs to be done dry for maximum
effectiveness.
Step 4 –
1st Spot Cleaning
For special spots, specific cleaning
agents are applied prior to cleaning.
Step 5 – Application of Cleaning
Treatment
A cleaning agent is applied thoroughly to
your carpet to loosen soils prior to cleaning.
Step 6 –
Agitation
For heavly soiled carped, we will use a Counter Rotating
Brush machine to guarantee the cleaning agent is worked deeply
into your carpet pile.
Step 7 – Deep
Cleaning
Deep Cleaning is accomplished by using
a High-Flow/High-Heat/High-Recovery Diesel heated
Truckmount cleaning machine.
What does this mean?
Well, with High-Flow, we use more water, allowing a thorough
flusing of your carpet that removes more
soil. High-Heat adds the power to quickly remove
oily soils with less cleaning agents. The High-Recovery
system increases removal of the water, cleaning agents and
soils in your carpet: this is accomplised with special
attachments to our cleaning wands, vacuum system and hoses.
Why does this matter?
With our advanced cleaning system, we remove more soil, we
do it faster, and your carpet dries quickly--normally in
45-120 minutes.
Step 8 – Post Cleaning
Spotting
Spots not removed at this point
are individually treated with professional cleaning agents and
then re-cleaned. Spot treatments for Food Dyes and Pet Stains
are applied and continue to work during the next several hours.
These areas will be dry when the cleaning agents have finished
working.
Step 9 – Deodorization and/or
Fabric Protector (optional)
These Optional treatments are now applied We recommend
our Deodorization treatment for severe overall odor
challenges. For pet odors that are confined to very
specific areas, we recommend our deep pad pet odor
process.
We do recommend Fabric Protector on every carpet after
cleaning. Fabric protector, whether applied at the carpet
mill or in the home, will wear off and needs to be
re-applied. Spots and spills are easier to clean with
treated carpet. Also, normal soil is easier to
vacuum. The removal of this soil will keep your carpet
looking great for many years. Although fabric protector
has been around since the 1950's. But, it was not until
recently that a fabric protector was available for all
carpet made from olefin and polypropylene. These
fibers are more common today and older types of fabric
protector would not help these fibers resist oily soils.
We have the solution to that problem!
Step 10 –
Final Inspection
You will go over the cleaning results with your technician
when cleaning is finished.
